"Breakfast in the Park"

SPEAKER: Lorraine Ranalli

Lorraine Ranalli is best remembered for her many years in broadcasting, primarily on radio and TV in the Philadelphia tri-state region.
Having moonlighted as a copywriter throughout her career, Lorraine established PR Coordinates, a marketing and public relations consulting business, in 2005. Around the same time, she began to receive ghostwriting offers prompting an increased focus on writing. A year later, she began to develop the concept of Gravy Wars | South Philly Foods, Feuds & Attytudes.
A humorous narrative about the flavor of Italian culture in South Philadelphia, Gravy Wars describes a way of life that is unique to the region of which gravy, a.k.a. tomato sauce, is a distinct hallmark.
Since the release of Gravy Wars, Lorraine has employed all aspects of her communication expertise to promote the book and speak about publishing and marketing. When she’s not cooking up fodder for broadcast or print, Lorraine’s in the kitchen cooking up family favorites.
