Here are the known degree ceremony dates in our area.  You may contact us for addresses if necessary, or to add your dates to our calendar.

My Brothers All,

AS YOU CAN SEE WE HAVE FOUR 3RD DEGREES SCHEDULED BETWEEN NOW AND DECEMBER 7TH, HOWEVER, VERY FEW 1ST AND 2ND DEGREES ARE SCHEDULED.  PLEASE SCHEDULE MORE 1ST AND 2ND DEGREES.

District Deputies; please contact all your Councils to see if they have any candidates waiting for a 1st Degree.  If so, please schedule these men for one of the Degrees listed below.  We don’t want to have potential members sit all summer waiting to make their 1ST Degree.

                                                                                                               

Below is a list of the known Degrees Dates in our caucus area.  Please let me know via the e-mail address listed below if any other Degrees are scheduled in you District or Council so the dates, locations (please send the actual address) and times can be distributed throughout our caucus area.

Monday, November 10th, Father Stommel Council will host a 2nd Degree at St. John the Baptist School, 4050 Durham Rd, Ottsville, PA 18942-9623 Candidates at 7:00 PM, Degree at 7:30 PM, please contact District Deputy Ted Zajac at 215-453-7453 or Degree Team Capt. at 215-350-3759.  Candidates are requested to be in proper attire.

 

Sunday, November 9th, at Rev. William Fenerty Council # 7208, held at St. Joseph Parish Center, 340 Manor Avenue (Rt. 322), Downingtown, Pa, District 19,- 1st and 2nd Degree  - Candidates at 7:00 PM, Degree at 7:30 PM, 2nd Degree will start immediately after 1st Degree.  Contact either Grand Knight Frank  Forcellini at 610-873-7517 or DD Chuck Giordano at 484-883-0535 or Team Captain Dan Bowser at 610-909-0807.

NOTE: Exit Rt. 30 by-pass at Manor Ave and go about 1/2 mile east to the Parish. The Degrees are in the Parish Education Center.  A donation of $3.00 is suggested to everyone in attendance to help defray the cost of refreshments.

 

Thursday, November 13th, at Mother of Divine Providence Council #14454, 405 Allendale Road, King of Prussia, PA 19405, District 21,- 1st and 2nd Degree  - Candidates at 7:00 PM, Degree at 7:30 PM, 2nd Degree will start immediately after 1st Degree.  Contact either Grand Knight Ed Campbell at either ecampbell@mmclaw.com via cell 610-457 9813 or DD Lou Fetscher at AnLfet@aol.com or 215-887-7738.

NEW Tuesday, November 25th at St. Joseph the Worker Council # 4215, 1492 Woodbourne Rd., Levittown, PA District 10 -1st and 2nd Degree – All Candidates report at 7:00 PM, 1st Degree at 7:30 PM, 2nd Degree to immediately follow the 1st Degree – Please RSVP to GK Jim Price at jrprice5@verizon.net or at 215-429-2661 as to how many candidates you will be bringing to both 1st and 2nd degree ASAP.

 

Sunday, November 30th, De LaSalle Council #590, 18 Baltimore Pike, Springfield, PA , District 14 – 3rd Degree – Candidates at 12:00 Noon, Degree at  1:00 PM. Contact Jack Cruice, DD at 610-626-5752.  Note: The Eagles are playing on Thursday evening this week and not on Sunday; therefore, no football excuses.

Giordano at 610-873-0432 or cpgiordano@comcast.net.  Please instruct all candidates to make every effort to wear a wear a coat & tie.

Remember to call the Host District Deputy and/or the Host Grand Knight and/or the Council’s Degree Team Captain so they know how many candidates are attending the Degree and make sure the candidate's home Council supplies a new candidate's kit (rosary, pin and the book "These men called Knights”) for each candidate. Additionally, don't forget to present each new candidate with the requirements for the Shining Armor Award.
